Yeah, I saw that. Was wondering how far it's going to spread. It's not going to take the whole thing, is it?

As of 5:29pm EST the fire is now weaker. I don't know about building structure but I heard one historian lady says the roof collapse and a famous spire. Everyone thought the spire was made of iron but it was iron overlay and wood beneath it. They don't know if the floor collapsed either. Any place there is wood is susceptible to catching fire as it is tender dry. The historian lady said if the cathedral has some sort of stone vault that that would help protect much of the building. Both towers of the cathedral are safe. Officials are still working to save the cathedral's work of art.

Heard at work they think its either arson or it was caused by the renovations. Bit of a gap between the two eh?

The annoying thing in the reporting was the immediate effort by all the networks to make sure they reported it wasn’t terrorism. Of cource it remains to be seen if accident or arson and we should all hope for a through open investigation.
They all were just tripping over themselves to refute even honest speculation.
Given the number of church fires and vandalism in France over the last two years terrorism has to be considered by investigators.
This type of reporting only fuels the negative opinions so many have of the networks.
