Unusually quiet for this time of year. :?:
No hot headedness or terrorism. Shit even in oz for the first time I can remember our fuel prices are down for this time of year. They normally go up. What's going on?

I know I can certainly use a break. I'm enjoying the quiet.

It's kind of like being a First Responder. We train for it. We get the adrenaline rush when the call comes in and the sirens wail. We look forward to the alarm going off, even though it does mean someone is in distress.

Same thing here. Our job is looking out for nuclear war. Things get exciting when the world is spinning out of control. Unfortunately, that also means that the world is spinning out of control.

In the end, I'd rather have it quiet than exciting.

No wonder it is called a curse when someone says "May you live in interesting times."

Wow this time of year normally has bit more going on. Something just not right? Calm before the storm.? I don't know should be grateful. Scary to think how long this may last and what happens at the end. Feels like an unfamiliar road. .
