New thread for the Russian Crisis since the last one was WAY too long.

Even though there is already a thread, the collapse of the Minsk agreements between Kiev and the Kremlin seems to be an issue that needs to be noted.

Well, there's nothing much new about the state of that. It was just repeated again
What is big news, that I don't think that is a thread here yet, is the assassination of the separatist leader in Lughansk called "Motorola". That is something that will have consequences.

That was mentioned in one of the other threads, pretty big imo. Wouldn't think Ukraine would be heating up right before Winter... maybe they're getting it all out of their systems over the next month or so.

"On Sunday UK Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson and US Secretary of State John Kerry threatened to impose more sanctions on Russia. ... While some EU members such as Poland are keen to impose further anti-Russian sanctions in connection with the Syria crisis, other EU states are reluctant to do so."

"'The goal of these sanctions is not in solving anything but to contain Russia’s strengthening as a full-fledged participant of international activity. This goal won’t be achieved,' [Putin] stressed."

More economic warfare against Russia on the horizon, or will it instead be more division within EU/NATO?

Saw a few blips on GLP about RT assets being frozen in UK. RT website is confirming this. Any thoughts?

I don't find this to be a particularly comforting sign as far as relations go.
