On the day their talks in Hanoi collapsed last month, US President Donald Trump handed North Korean leader Kim Jong Un a piece of paper that included a blunt call for the transfer of Pyongyang's nuclear weapons and bomb fuel to the United States, according to a document seen by Reuters news agency.

Trump gave Kim both Korean and English-language versions of the US position at Hanoi's Metropole hotel on February 28, according to a source familiar with the discussions, speaking on condition of anonymity. It was the first time that Trump himself had explicitly defined what he meant by denuclearisation directly to Kim, the source said.

A joint lunch for the two leaders was cancelled the same day. While neither side has presented a complete account of why the summit collapsed, the document may help explain it.

They should have just warned China since they hold the leash on rocket mans livelihood. He had no permission to say yes as every launcher is brand new straight from China. I know D.C. intelligence is not stupid so they must think we, the people are. Get back to the fire and fury talk as that's what got him talking in the first place, after we get that dictator and the Russians out of Venezuela though. Oh and after we load the Rio Grande with Gators and Crocks!!!

U.S. President Donald Trump said Thursday he aims to strike a "big deal" with North Korea on its nuclear weapons program while keeping sanctions in place for now.

You can work out, step by step, pieces," Trump said, conceding that "various smaller deals" could happen. "But at this moment, we're talking about the big deal. The big deal is we have to get rid of the nuclear weapons."

"according to a document seen by Reuters news agency"
"according to a source familiar with the discussions"

Like so many other articles, this could be #fakenews.
Trump is doing something no one else has done. And despite all the bad press about the negotiations, and lack of coverage thereof, the north koreans have not shot missiles or detonated any bombs in a very long time. The provocations and threats have stopped. This is extremely bad news for the CIA and military industrial complex, of which side the media is on. Keep an open mind and enjoy the show. In a few years, the North could open up and be a completely different country if this works out.
