My wife and I tracked and intercepted this tornado in Central Illinois last night. Taylorville, IL, was severely damaged when this storm hit the down directly as a large wedge tornado. These are our videos from last night:

We had one touch down about 10 miles to the Southeast of us. (Bloomington-Normal). I'm not sure of what kind of damage it caused.

Lived most of my life in central Il. Farm on the flats between to medium creek valleys which ran into il River. Watch storms for years cross and come up I’ll river valley and then turn up these tributary valleys and go north or south of the farm. It was like the storms tracked the drainage basins almost exclusively. Was so consistent four generations of my family never even got excited about tornados.
