Deliveries will continue for the next 30 months, new equipment will improve aircraft survivability through early detection of threats. A completely digital system is developed on the basis of the company's rich experience in EW systems. The full value of the contract is estimated at more than $ 300 million.
BAE Systems said it has developed its own radio frequency protection system used on airplanes of versions such as the AC-130J Ghostrider and the MC-130J Commando II. The system will be used for fire control, refueling of helicopters, direct air support for ground troops and for flights over enemy territory.
