I am thinking our opportunities will arise when we learn of mass murdering of the coup members.
I'd bet if it goes that far it'll be by Sarin gas.
Then America should step in with a kegger of whoopazz...

Hopefully our men on that base get treated with thee.... utmost care. Lights turned on. etc..
I bet they're on edge having wolves at the front door like that.

I'd bet money the power at Incirlik goes back on, and it is then used as a bargaining chip to get Gulen. Turn him over, it stays on, don't and it goes off.

That wouldn't end well for Turkey.

Indeed. If that happened, Turkey might be kicked out of NATO and simultaneously, experience an offensive attack by NATO itself.

Though... that could lead to further problems down the line. Really hard choices might be coming up soon.
The release of atomic energy has not created a new problem. It has merely made more urgent the necessity of solving an existing one.

Oh, I completely agree. I still see it happening.

Not really. Assad hasn't pursed an Islamist agenda.
This is just so confusing and can drive anybody mad. Maybe we just let them play Russian Roulette with each other and get the hell out of there altogether. Convert the whole area to a gigantic prison similar to Escape from New York.

We can then abolish the death penalty and instead threaten to deport you to the "zone". This would put the fear in people.
