...*sigh*

Here we go again...

Hot damn, eh? Finally got one off the pad.
The following questions remain.
Did it fly it's full profile?
What were they shooting at?
Did they hit it?
Was this a putative 'SS-N(K)-6?
Generally shooting at the pacific ocean cannot be said to construe an effective demonstration of anything other than 'gravity still seems to be working', bad news for those inclined to barophobia, but not indicative of a functioning weapon system.
Just a bit of contrast, albeit in the form of a USAF propaganda film. Though just that-propaganda-this is different propaganda in as much as it is a demonstration of a system that can hit what they're shooting at. (At least they didn't use the super hyperactive captain america guy that the thunderbirds keep on for colour commentary....) So, enjoy some real 'gun control', IE: hitting what you're shooting at, zorching a ball-park sized x-ring from V'burg.

Better purge the missile techs for their treasonous failure, so the next group of greenhorns can have another failed launch. lather rinse repeat

The US military says they detected the launch. So it happened, but apparently didn't make it that far.

Well, that fits their record. What's that, five failed launches in a row now?

Sounds about right. Maybe he should start out easier, like with this:

I'm not sure he could even handle that.
