#BREAKING According to #OSINT, the Iranian Oil tanker was hit at 0500, fired two missiles from an Israeli gunboat, which started at 2300 hours, from the Israeli naval base on the island of Dahlak Eritrea. Then spotted at 0245 sailing 34 km south-east of Port Sudan

There is no legitimate reason for Israel to attack an oil tanker with missiles.

It doesn't surprise me that Israel may be responsible for the explosion and subsequent oil spill. It wouldn't be the first time the Jewish State has put it's politics and military actions above environmental and humanitarian concerns. I hope the UN continues to keep a critical eye on Israel as much as they do Iran. Neither side is guiltless, and we may see more of such disasters to come.

Terrorism by independent actors seems unlikely, unless a radical group in Egypt or the Sinai has missiles and the ability to launch them.

This I don't believe. Israel would be insane to do that. And they aren't insane.

Just some Saudi Generals getting some payback. I can see a major Tanker war kicking off soon or worse and its all due to Irans antics.

This is going to be an interesting development if everyone starts taking potshots at each others' tankers.

This. Exactly. Neither side in a conflict is a saint, but neither side is totally culpable either
