Screw proportional response. The only way you get the enemy to surrender is to overwhelm them.

The fact that she's calling for a response from the US at all is concerning. Nothing good will come from a US military strike on Iranian soil.

As I said somewhere else, I think it should be SA that responds, since they were the ones attacked.

If the US is bound and determined to stick its nose in, any response needs to be overwhelming.

The 9/11 attackers were caught off guard by the US response. Which is one of the reasons why you haven't seen another one. They are afraid of the US response.

If any response to Iran is a like-kind, expect Iran to continue and do worse.

Saudi columnist in Saudi newspaper Okaz: “We have no allies except ourselves.”

The column runs under the subtitle “hint, hint, and clearly.” تلميح و تصريح

“We‘re on our own, and we must act accordingly. The allies of yesterday are no longer the same.”

If Iran had really launched drones and missiles into SA, they would have had to cross the Persian Gulf, and there is no way imho they would not have been detected by the numerous radar early warning systems on land and naval ships in the area. That is the evidence required to prove it was Iran imho, not residue of the drones and missiles at the impact sites.
They were spotted by Kuwait flying through their ADIZ.

Why Saudi Arabia did not already have the ground based CWIS and Patriots guarding such an important facility makes no sense but they probably had moved them to guard the south. Iran obviously noticed the lack of protection and took the opportunity to hit while they could. Saudi Arabia had better get a lot more Patriots and CWIS systems flown in before they strike Iran and this is likely why they have kept quiet so far.

Iran has to be nervous as hell or just plain stupid. Do they really think they can win a fighting war when Saudi Arabia alone will have air superiority by day two? Everyone knows where their ballistic missiles are, they US or Israel will likely remove them from the fight before the Saudis even attack. The US Navy will keep the Gulf and the straights free of any Iranian antics or sink every boat they have. They are on a suicide mission while praying Russia tries to help them but likely wont after the stunt they pulled.

I completely agree. We cant let Saudi go it alone for the simple reason that they do not have enough man power to fend off the Iranian army on the battlefield and the world does not need a protracted war in the gulf between these two because Iraq and Kuwait will get tore up in the fight.. Iran deserves to have its ass kicked and is LONG overdue for a biblical beating.

The US, Saudi Arabia and Israel need to set them back 50 years and be done with it. A tit for tat situation will only make things worse and if nothing is done they will strike again and cause more a lot more damage real soon. Hit them hard and fast with our Stealth bombers and fighters while 1000s of TLAMS rain down removing their Republican guard from the face of the earth.
