Re: Dozens of Russians Are Believed Killed in U.S.-Backed Syria Attack

We all know that this was a possibility that could happen with a conflict in such a confined, undefined space with major players playing every which side. Now again we all theorized of this happening,... now its happened. I know this won't cause WIII, but there will be obvious Russian counter measu...

Re: Will Missile Defense Help in a Global Nuclear War?

Re: Chance of War With NK

It is hard to say with any certainty due to the apparent steps toward normalization and deescalation taken during the approach towards the winter olympics. NK behavior once the event has concluded will offer a good clue as to their long term intentions, and in turn, how we will deal with them. If th...

Re: North Korea EMP Threat Assessment

Well put on all accounts, I concur. I think, from NK at least, we should be much more concerned about 'regular' usage of nuclear weapons, than EMP specific strikes. They aren't any more certain of the potential effectiveness than we are, and they have a very limited number of weapons. Wasting any of...

And vice versa really, so back to square zero, again.
When the offer was made, the US government was well aware DPRK would reject it out of hand. I would say we never moved from square zero.
Good point.
Yes.

And the same agency that has dreadfully underestimated North Korea's technological advances in this area at every step
