Re: *********** Discovers DPRK ICBM Meant to Go Farther than it did

If you read the JT article, experts from 38North are split on the issue, so it could be both. Signalling does not necessarily have to be kinetic, but it can if needed. I didn't even notice 38 North in there, but only because they were called by a different name than I'm used to seeing. Based on his...

Re: *********** Discovers DPRK ICBM Meant to Go Farther than it did

I think they would. But you are correct in that no one truly knows. I do think that either they meant to send a message to the US, or that they actually meant to land it in territorial waters. If you read the JT article, experts from 38North are split on the issue, so it could be both. Signalling do...

*********** Claims DPRK ICBM Meant to Go Farther than it did

On the July 4th test, something abnormal was found pertaining to the predicted trajectory on the paper map in front of Kim at the viewing area. Close analysis of the map appears to show the splash down point of the missile just off Okushiri Island located west of Hokkaido, Japan. That trajectory cou...

Re: Russian General Thread 10-17-2016

Looks pretty biased (based off profile pic lol) but I wouldn't really doubt the information. Guess it's a watch-and-see thing for right now. Haha, yeah, my thoughts too, but there could still be a kernel of truth somewhere in there. SitRep shouldn't really be for discussing why something happened, ...

I agree. This is disastrous, as China is going to be able to do whatever they want there. It also could open up yet another hotspot.

Re: RADAR Scope 10/1/2016

A couple RC-135's up in the air at the moment. Cobra-Ball. Actually, I'm reading a RC-135U, not a 135S. 135U is Combat Sent, and is used to detect weaknesses in the enemy's radar systems. \ We only have 2 in the entire fleet. http://www.af.mil/AboutUs/FactSheets/Display/tabid/224/Article/104495/rc-...

Re: The Russian Armed Forces may return to the former Soviet bases in Cuba and Vietnam

Somehow, I doubt the Cubans are overly interested in serving as useful idiots to the Russians yet again. That would especially be true after relations between the U.S. and Cuba have been restored. The Cubans have just had thier embargo lifted, tourism and investment is booming right now. I doubt th...
