Would Turkey really put itself on the line for the US against Russia?
Nope trust me when I say this. Rumor has it Turkey will not be in NATO by 2020. They have lost all creidablity in the west and the west has already made new plans NOT involving Turkey. Hell the US removed them from the new stealth fighter jet program.

The Strategic middle location and its large military assets are vital for Nato.. Turkeys reason to stay is that Nato or Russia would make it a battle ground.
That may have held true when Turkey was being used as a buffer against an expansionist Soviet Union. Not so sure that holds the same with Russia today, especially when Turkey is such an unreliable ally.

Turkey has long lost its value to NATO. I'm surprised they haven't left or been kicked out by now.

My question is if this path will lead to Turkey leaving or being expelled from NATO. In the last few days there has been more articles about Turkey showing more interest in cooperation with Russia.
