In any case, this report was just released today, and it states that
Over the last several years, a number of studies have shown that a limited, regional nuclear war between India and Pakistan would cause significant climate disruption worldwide. Two studies published this year examine the impact on agricultural output that would result from this climate disruption...A 2007 report by the International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War and its US affiliate, Physicians for Social Responsibility, suggested that up to one billion people might starve if a limited nuclear war led to even a 10% decline in their food consumption
A scary thought, considering current/past events. Ever feel like you're close to the edge and only a bit away from falling? I feel it now.
