The Senate unanimously approved legislation that aims to derail North Korea's drive for nuclear weapons

Seeking to derail North Korea's drive for nuclear weapons, Republican and Democratic senators set aside their partisan differences Wednesday to unanimously pass legislation aimed at starving Pyongyang of the money it needs to build an atomic arsenal. The legislation also authorizes $50 million over...

Re: 4 EAMs Today coincided with NJ sonic booms

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (WPVI) -- Officials say sonic booms heard and felt along the coast from New Jersey to Connecticut were caused by military fighter jets conducting tests. A Navy spokeswoman says an F-35C and F-18 from Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Maryland, were conducting supersonic testing ...

Re: The Listening Post: 11/22

UHF SATCOM has been very busy, I've heard at least 8 tankers coordinating with planes for refills. Various planes coordinating unknown events. No recordings, I'm using another radio and need to connect it to the computer before I can record. However, the active frequencies are as follows. All are in...

Re: The Listening Post: 11/15

Should have recorded it it was weird blips and bloops and buzzing. That appears sometimes. Someone wrote some where else, that it is a kind of Australian Radar, but don't pin me down to that. Also known as "Pacman-noises" ;) It is a digital mode, called Olivia. The spoken EAM is also sent digitally...
