Re: Saudi Arabia oil production reduced by drone strikes

I just don't want to see US assets be the ones to retaliate against Iran. Not that I don't think the US has a legitimate beef with them. It's just that, SA facilities, let SA do it. They have their own military. Why should the US risk lives and money?

It seems strange that the Saudis have not responded in any way. What would it take for them and Iran to go to war?
That kind of has me wondering as well. The US holding them back? Not so sure.

Higher now considering POTUS has released American emergency fuel supply access. 🤔 something is in motion.
That's just an attempt to keep prices stable in light of the attack on SA oil processing.

Re: Saudi Arabia oil production reduced by drone strikes

What defcon level would we be at right now in terms of the risk of conventional war? Conventional wars are a completely different kettle of fish. The threshold is much lower, since most people don't consider them as destructive, so are more willing to engage in it. Low but rising is my guess. Right...

Do you see Russia getting involved? So far, I don't see too much coming out of TASS to indicate that.
I haven't heard or seen anything about Russia getting involved. Iran considers Russia an ally. We'll see what Russia thinks about that in the coming days.

Re: Saudi Arabia oil production reduced by drone strikes

Iran: 'We are ready for an all-out war with the United States' https://twitter.com/IntelCrab They always say that. Means nothing. They have the ability to shut down the Strait for a short period, and they can attack ships with their swam boats. They have no defense against an air attack which is wh...

Do you read the DEFCON articles?

Do you actually read the articles posted on DEFCON? If so, how much do you read?

Re: Saudi Arabia oil production reduced by drone strikes

We're going to be watching this, especially if Saudi Arabia actually has the gumption to attack Iran directly. D4 perhaps? If SA attacks Iran? Good question. When Iran and Iraq were fighting, DEFCON stayed at 5. The US and Russia weren't really involved. It all depends on who decides to put their n...

Re: Do you trust the media to properly inform you of an impending nuclear crisis?

Interestingly put. I have actually talked to quite a few people about a theory that a missile was actually inbound, but destroyed. And rather than further escalate the incident, the government claims it was a "false alarm". Does anyone else feel this might be the case? No. There is no evidence of a...
