Re: US pulling out of Syria

People whined when the US got involved in Syria, people whine that the US is pulling out. Sheesh, just can't win. The US knows it isn't getting anywhere in Syria. Seems like a waste to keep troops there. Bonus is that it removes an irritant to Russia, giving Russia and the US one less reason to go ...

Re: US pulling out of Syria

Kurds will get gassed. We knew a withdrawal was always in the works. But you are right about the Kurds if we have a moral imperative to anyone in the region it is the Kurds. I hope in this withdrawal he choose to back the Kurds with real assistance, diplomatically and threat of force. I don’t know ...

Re: Ukraine/Russia Situation Dec 6th

In sept 2018 Ukrainian navy passed the straights without advanced notice of 48 hours and with the Russian pilots. To me this would imply a history of recognition and understanding how the treaty would be applied. From there the nov incident is a bit of a he said she said. Ukrainian commanders say th...

Let alone have no historic memory of a larg scale event happen and there not be the government or aid groups come in with help relativity quickly. We’re ...

Re: South China sea China - possible China response on US freedom of navigation

Personal observation, there is growing civil unrest in China and conflicts even with in the CCP. The gov is rounding up Uyghurs, Chinese churches are being shuttered as well. My point is Chinese statements and actions are more focused on control of domestic issues not so much with international even...

Re: Ukraine/Russia Situation Dec 6th

That’s the unknown, was Crimea a one off land grab? I tend to believe it was because of cultural and warm water port issues but I don’t know. It was the warm water port. No way was Russia going to give that up. They couldn’t risk an unfriendly Urkrainian gov threatening their access. That has been ...

Re: N. Korea Calls for Complete Suspension of S. Korea-US Military Drills

Simply inform DPRK, China, and Russia that unless Kim denuclearizes verifiably and completely then it will be the position of the US to encourage and provide all necessary technology and aid to enable South Korea and Japan to equip themselves with their own nuclear weapons. Japan and SK tech and ind...

Re: US held subcritical nuclear test last Dec.

The only time reference in the post was that it was the first of its kind in five years. That would be the Obama admin not Reagan. Do you honestly believe given the current nation states in the world today none of them are developing, enhancing, and building nuclear weapons and their delivery system...
